.. A simple bottle top toy

The smallest item of everyday household waste, can be transformed with a few simple twists, into a great toy.

The ring of plastic from the pull seals on milk bottle and fruit juice bottles, can make great fun toys for cats.

The resulting spiral coil of harmless chewy plastic, moves unexpectedly when struck with a paw & often triggers pouncing & chases.

Cats see greens & browns particularly well and these ring pulls are generally green.

The toys usually won't last very long as the plastic is not strong (or sharp). Therefore when a new one appears, cats usually haven't had time to tire of the toys & their exciting games can re-commence.

Note: Cats can tire of their toys if they are always laying around. It is a good idea to limit their availability, try putting toys away & only getting them out from time to time, so the novelty remains.
