Registered Charity No: 1122119 Who? What? Where? For many unwanted cats in Kent, Surrey and the Home Counties, Silvana's Romney House Cat Rescue is their last chance! In addition to taking in an assortment of affectionate domestic lap cats and cute kittens, who are looking for new, permanent homes, Silvana also works closely with organisations such as Battersea & the RSPCA. Acting as a Good Samaritan, she accepts animals that are considered unsuitable for homing, usually due to temperament problems. With TLC some of these blossom under her protection but the majority will never be family pets, only being suitable for the outdoor life. Offers of homes for stable cats are often in short supply so many of these 'ferals' remain roaming the grounds. Romney House relies solely on donations from the public and, as the costs incurred in supporting such a large feline population are enormous, sponsorship of the residents is actively encouraged!
