Special cats, needing special homes

These cats deserve a little extra care and attention.

We also have some long term residents available for sponsorship.

Golden oldies

Golden oldies

Please consider adopting or sponsoring one of our wonderful "Golden Oldies". Through no fault of their own they find themselves here at Romney House, where they will probably spend the rest of their twighlight days.

Although they have all the shelter, food & love we can provide, nothing could beat having their own home & family.

Alternatively, sponsoring an oldie will help with any special diets (including tuna, pilchards & prawns of course!), & living costs such as heating & litter.

Marcus

Marcus
Sex: Male
Breed/markings: D.S.H. Black & White
Comments: Deserves pampering

Marcus has been a Romney cat for some time. He originally came from Ireland as a very terrified cat who had been through a lot in his little life. We did want to give him a lovely life here and have done for a year, unfortunately he really finds the amount of cats here too much. Also, our "Mitch" chases him and really is cruel to him, so we have decided he needs a home of his own where he can be pampered and not look over his shoulder for Mitch. he is very special to us so we do need a special home!

Tommy

Tommy
Sex: Male
Breed/markings: D.S.H. Black & White
Comments: Sociable with other cats

Stunning Tommy, very sociable with other cats (loves Dolly - below) but needs an experienced household as he is still very nervous around humans.

Little Tabby

Little Tabby
Sex: Female
Breed/markings: D.S.H. Tabby & White
Gift/stray: Gift
Comments: Shy, from a troubled past

Young Tabby is only 8 months old and came in from the RSPCA from a very bad home. She has had to have her eye removed as it was very damaged. She would suit a large indoor environment or somewhere with a very secure garden. Is good with other cats but is still a little nervous of being handled. Somebody with time and patience is needed.
