Please sponsor a special cat

Meet some of the permanent residents who really need your support.

If there isn't enough room in your life but you would still like to adopt or rescue a cat for yourself or as a gift for someone, let us know by completing a sponsorship form & Standing Order form if applicable (sponsor a Mog - minimum £10). We will send you a certificate, a photograph & reminder of how you have helped to save & improve their lives. We will always consider offers of homes for these very special cats, but otherwise they are free to live indefinately around the grounds of Romney House.

Sponsorship - A feel good gift that benefits more than just one personality - take a look

Gunner

Gunner

Gunner has been here for many years. He has a real problem with feet, so much so that when he sees them approaching he lashes out. This is probably due to the fact that he has been kicked in the past. He loves life in the fields and is very confident - but he still has the occasional urge to attack!

Ryan

Ryan

Silvana is from Sardinia and regularly returns to her home country to trap, neuter and treat the feral colonies living rough as they do in most parts of Europe. Ryan is a constant reminder of how fortunate the majority of cats are in this country in comparison. He was found in the airport car park, climbing into car engines to keep warm! He was about 6 weeks old and constantly cried during the 3 days it took to catch him! There was no-one to care for him when it was time for Silvana to return to England so he came too - after all the necessary documentation and testing had been completed!

Kiki

Kiki

Kiki came from a large rescue centre, she was not homeable due to her aggressive temperament. Kiki and JoJo are always together but she keeps her distance from humans. She cannot be stroked but shows her gratitude by rolling around the floor at your feet. She loves her outdoor life at Romney house.

Ivy

Ivy

Ivy was considered un re-homeable due to her aggressive temperament. She loves JoJo and they are always together but she keeps her distance from humans. She cannot be stroked but shows her gratitude by rolling around the floor at your feet. She loves her outdoor life at Romney house.
