Please sponsor a special cat
Meet some of the permanent residents who really need your support.
If there isn't enough room in your life but you would still like to adopt or rescue a cat for yourself or as a gift for someone, let us know by completing a sponsorship form & Standing Order form if applicable (sponsor a Mog - minimum £10). We will send you a certificate, a photograph & reminder of how you have helped to save & improve their lives. We will always consider offers of homes for these very special cats, but otherwise they are free to live indefinately around the grounds of Romney House.
Sponsorship - A feel good gift that benefits more than just one personality - take a look
Nina
Nina came from the same colony as Gregory, very timid and hand shy. She does come into the house now but makes a quick exit when somebody enters. She loves all the other cats and is a very sweet girl.
Jo Jo
Jo Jo seems to be the girl's favourite - they all fight for his attention! He is the boss in the back garden. After 2yrs he decided one day that he would like to try how it felt to be stroked - and he loved it! A very lovely cat that has an important job in the garden.
Oliver
Oliver was a terrified semi feral who turned up at a friend's back door asking for food. The resident cats did not approve of this and chased him off. He was desperate for a home even though he was wild, within 6 months he became very trusting - even venturing into the house. He is a real gentle boy who looks after all the newcomers.
Kitty
Kitty came all the way from Greece as the lady who had been looking after a colony of 15 cats was having to move back to the UK. She paid to bring them all back and rehomed the majority but Kitty came to Romney as she did not want an indoor home - she now loves her life with her English friends.
