Volunteers needed!
The rescue cats that live around the grounds, the strays who come in & the cats gifted to Romney House all require care & attention.
Romney House welcomes volunteers who will help with feeding, cleaning of bowls, litter trays & of course the socialisation of the cats.
Being transported & left in any rescue centre is traumatic for cats, they don't understand why they are there. Many animals need to see a friendly human face caring for them & showing them some kindness, to help them to settle in & get them prepared for their new homes. Some animals have been mistreated or have strayed & need reminding of the positive benefits, that human relationships can bring. Some animals need to be encourage to eat etc.
If you have experience with cats & would like to volunteer at Romney House, please e-mail Silvana at silvana@romneyhousecatrescue.org.uk or call her on: 01959 572319 or 07958 273118
Volunteers are expected to commit to at least a few regular hours per week
