A white tiger on holiday...

On our recent holiday we saw this beautiful white tiger. He was gorgeous.

White tigers are not a separate species of big cat, they carry a naturally occurring recessive gene which causes the unusual colouration. Much like the small cat breeds, the in breeding of white tigers has been practised in captivity for the spectacle.
