10. New cat house
It was that time again! Half term and I am able to have time away from my paid work to catch up with my Italian cat work. It is always so exciting with the prospect of seeing all my lovely furry babies at home in Alghero, but always so much anxiety around what I will be faced with in the way of cats suffering, un neutered, poorly kittens everywhere and so much more.
angie Bond joined me this time for support and help. It is so much better to have an extra pair of hands!
As we arrived our first trip was to check out the cats (and dogs). Last month Tony (my husband) had erected a wooden house for the cats in my garden. (He was fed up with our lovely garden table where we are supposed to have barbeques being taken up by cat beds, food bowls and water for the cats.) When we came out of our back door we were almost triping up on all the cat kennels etc.
He has built it as far away as possible from the back door!
What a brilliant job he had done! The only problem is, when I am there they do not want to sleep or eat there but indoors with me!! i must be hard and train them to only go there to sleep and eat. (well I can always try!).
A new wooden house
Spacious sleeping area
Comfortable cat lodgings
